You can't argue with that - there's maybe eight stages he could win. However, he's not saying he will win them. I can't see any overconfidence in the article at all...

Having won 6 this year and clearly the fastest out there by far I think he has every right to be confident and I would not rule him out of going for the green next year.

I watched the presentation on Eurosport and he said there'll be 5 sprint stages, possibly 8. He didn't say he was going to win all of them, only that these are the stages where he could win.

Cant see anything wrong with that - if HE cant say those things - who can ?

If he's fit - then multiple stage wins should be on the cards again.

He didn't say he was going to win eight, he said there are eight that he could win. There's a difference.
