The race of the falling leaves... last race of the European calendar and thus the last race of PTP 2009. With andyp and FJS still on equal points overall, it's going to be a nailbiting finalé 8)

(Unless they both cancel each other out again and... er... then we have a problem.)

Race is this Saturday:

It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.

If it's a tie, how about a Japan Cup tiebreaker? One-off race, reasonably decent field. It's on the 25th.

Surely you do it on wins?

Who picked more winners as opposed to 2nd 3rd places etc.
Note: the above post is an opinion and not fact. It might be a lie.

I posted that in the main thread and no-one replied! Well, okay, Iain replied and suggested we have a dance-off, but I reckon Len Goodman is probably busy next weekend. Although if someone can get Alesha Dixon in on the act, then I'm there...

However, I think you're right. We'll do that.

Next question: do andyp and FJS want to know the number of wins they each have BEFORE or AFTER Lombardy.

Just a thought, maybe all those capable of winning the overall should send their picks via Private Message to AFX, this will reduce the likelihood of copycat picks?

I know I wasn't here at the start of the year, but, just for this race could I please have.....

(takes a large slug of whisky)

    Eskimo Tommy D.

There is no reasoning behind this choice, in fact no logic whatsoever, it's just a gut feeling. And probably too much whisky tonight.

And could I also pick Kléber?

I assume you already had a look whether that's not a tie too?
I don't mind either way, let's hope it's not needed. And Kleber, or thomasmc with a brave outsider pick might well win it.
