Cycling related things to do in Rome?

My wife is taking me to Rome as a birthday present and I was wondering what cycling related things there might be to see or do in the city. I won't have a bike with me, and as she doesn't ride, I would say anything involving riding would be out. Any great shops? Factory tours? Any suggestions appreciated.

Dont know if they run at this time of year but been looking at linking this to a Med cruise myself in November which has a 2 day Rome stopover...Often think of the "hills of Rome"when Rome is mentioned and wonder if this would make cycling difficult..they last 3 hours (GUIDED e49 OR SELF GUIDED e25)so maybe you can do one yourself while she goes shopping and cant be persuaded to give it a go,This link has other noncycling tours

I'd cycle the sights - probably a good place to do it. You could cycle to the Popes summer residence built on an old volcanoe outside the city. Went once - very pretty but I forget the name.
