Need a new one……………
Last time I bought one it measured speed & time &………that’s all!
Now I see a lot measure altimeter & gradient etc & can be connected to pc’s for downloading data.
Are they worth having (as features); are they accurate or just a waste of time?
I’ve got around £100 to spend on one.
Any recommendations?
Ta.

I have one of these:

has plenty of modes, and no wires.
Only one sensor, which can be fitted to the rear wheel, so useful on turbos.
Luckily, I have one for sale, too...Start with a budget, finish with a mortgage!0 -

I had one of these didn't get on with it at all - it kept jumping function when I went over a bump - and then only recording stats for half the journey - I googled, common problem - but wiggle refunded me pretty quick.
I got a great one from decathlon for £17 - the key feature for me is average speed. Cadence really only tells you what you already know IMO0 -
I have one of these (cateye double wireless) and have mixed feelings about it.
The wireless thing is great and the head unit is very small and easy to use. Personally 've found the cadence feature to be useful as I'm still a beginner and like to know what mine generally is.
However the sensor is a monstrosity (it's huge and looks stupid) and the cadence magnet needs to be about 3mm away from the sensor. I must have an odd frame or something as I had to bond the magnet to a spacer to achieve the recommended 3mm distance.
Otherwise it's simple to install and has worked perfectly well to date but I'm not sure I'd buy another.
P.S. Regarding accuracy I think they're pretty spot on providing you get the wheel circumference right in the first place. I think mine's about 1% out so not bad really.0
