Scott frames?

I have been looking at buying a Scott Speedster, possibly a second hand one so a 2007 or later model but reading the net there seems to be quite a few issues with frame cracks. I've read that some of them get a crack at the head tube and others, I think it was the S20 were cracking at the seat stays.
Has anyone experienced this with a Scott bike, I really like them but it's kind of putting me off buying one as I don't want to be worrying about it cracking whilst out for a ride.

I've had a Scott CR1 pro for ages and it's been faultless.
Sorry, I guess that's not really going to help you.0 -
I have had a speedster no issues and have owned 3 cr1's no issues bar one. A squeeky frame, scott replaced it without so much as a question on warranty for nothing. Scott are great!0

Was trying to reply but think I went about it not quite correctly!
I have 18 month old S20 and yes it has a crack - noticed it last weekend when cleaning the bike after a ride. I've traveled a fair few miles on it but, apart from the occassional and obligatory not quite avoiding the great British pothole have never had a crash.
The crack is in the head tube about 5mm long running up from the bottom race. Bike now back with retailer/Scott and I was told they will probably replace the frame. My main worry is assuming they do will it happen again - head tube opening up on a 40 mph descent not a nice thought
I would really like to know where you heard about this as I wasn't aware that this was a common fault
