Hi
I am interested in bicycling from Sweden across Great Britain to Irland. Is there any one how have got any book, map quides or homepage tips etc?

  • There are several "official" routes - by which I mean sign-posted and with guides or maps published - and of course limitless routes you can make up for yourself. Where will you arrive in the UK - this will help when making suggestions,

    If you land at hull there is the trans pennine trail to liverpool, turn off before the end to go to the north coast of wales and get the holyhead ferry

    Sustrans routes are a nice way to go out of town but they are not a quick way to get anywhere and throught the cities they may not be a good choice because they go round all the schools and housing estates. I use these routes as a part of my plans.

    This is less useful to you since it does not go across the middle of the country. Some pleasant routes here if you want quiet country roads
