Hi all, first post. Have found the forum extremely useful since caught the roadie bug in April after calling it a day on 20 year rugby career.
In April bought a Scott Speedster S20 and was getting fitter, faster and lighter at a rapid rate. Unfortunately some thieving b'stard nicked my pride and joy with most of the rest of the contents of my garage in the early hours of Saturday morning
. It is 2008 model predominantly silver (haven't got any photos!) with red detailing. Standard spec with full ultegra, addition of cateye computer, Look Keo easy road pedals, two red plastic bottle cages, halfords saddle bag. Monitoring fleabay, etc but would appreciate a heads up on the off chance anybody sees/is offered it

Thanks sicknote, disappointment has now given way to anger that scum can do this and probably sell £1500 worth of bike and accessories for a pittance. Insurance assessor coming today so hopefully get that resolved quickly and get some shiny new alloy or carbon. On that note can anybody recommend a bike for round about £1000? :twisted:0
