RSS Feeds & BikeRadar Forum

Hi guys,
All other sites I follow on RSS feed (Google Reader) generate one RSS instance for each new topic forum created. BikeRadar.com generates one RSS entry for each post rather than each new topic created. 24 hours away from the RSS reader and the General Forum on BikeRadar will have generated 200 plus RSS entries rather than say 12 if just the new topics were captured.
If this due to the way BikeRadar.com responds to the way RSS readers polls?
More and more people are using RSS readers to gather all the info they want into one page. I have RSS set up to 30 plus websites and do not want to kill my RSS with BikeRadar but some days the amount of items are unmanagable.
Is this something BikeRadar admin can look at?
