Usually starting morning rides are a struggle. Waking up from a week of excrushiating and painful work 9 "o'' clock on a saturday morning, having to travel 15 miles to even reach a place where i can unwind and let myself rip at the side of my near-by mountain bike-crazy hill down at rivington pike, Horwich, bolton. Usually my journey as annoying as it may seem every saturday is paid off by the 5-10 minute descent on the other side of winter hill. Many Downhill riders use this track, with it's steep descent and thrilling jumps gives you the adrenaline for another 15 miles Home. Well, This week i added a cyclometer to my £700 pride and joy noticing i was hitting over 42 mph! My dad was Like are you sure it's not KPH and i showed him i had set speciallised cyclometer to Mph, the same day my dad had been ticketed for speeding on the road that runs parallel to the track for doing 36.. . All i Can do is Laugh..
