FSA Pig upper bearings, which way ?

Hi,
Fitting an FSA Pig to a frame, have had the upper and lower cups pressed into place by LBS, am now in the early stages of fitting and greasing the bearings, however the diagram and instructions that came with the headset seem to be contradicting.
The written instruction say to place the upper bearings "bearing side up, retainer side down" however the assembly diagram it refers you too shows it bearing side down, retainer side up.
Any ideas ?

have a look at the bearing surfaces, and the ball-race. It should be pretty obiovus which way it should be oriented.
Remember that the ball-cage should not be taking any of the load.0 -
Use loose balls - fill the cups up fully, and take two out. Headset will last a lot longer.0

hey go the opposite way to the bottom ones."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
