Bike Jacke, do you have some advice, best jackets, THANKS

I'm looking for a spicific jacket to be used everyday on the bike. commuting between house and work and everything in between.

As i am quite impatient i go quite fast, about 30 km an hour, about 19 miles an hour. So by the time i get to my destination i'm all sweaty and hot.

I'm looking for a good (high) quality bike jacket that protects me from rain and wind but feels cool when i'm wearing it and (most important) stays cool when i'm racing to my work.

Can you folks outthere help me a hand with some advice.

Unfortunately, I don't think such a jacket exists.

If your arriving hot and sweaty (like me), then why worry about getting wet?

Im using a http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/ ... t-09-34799 which lets in water, eventually, but keeps me warm.

I love my Gore Windstopper jacket - it's a couple of years old so I can't find the exact model but it's the lightweight one with a vertical zip pocket on the chest and a back zip pocket. It's more jacket-like than the one linked above -- it's looser, and it would be very odd to wear it with nothing underneath and there's no fleece or warm lining.

It wasn't cheap, about £80 in a sale if I remember rightly, but it does an amazing job of keeping me comparatively cool while also being wind/waterproof (and I ride at about the same pace as you, traffic permitting). It's certainly much better than the heavyish Altura one I had before.

My mum sent me a Reebok convertible jacket in the post earlier this week, it is so much more breathable than my Endura Convert!
