Recommend me a saddle

As it says above, I'm after a new saddle just seeing what peoples opinions are. Looking to spend no more than £30 and it needs to be comfy as it's going on a steel frame.
Not sure i want to go down the sdg route again, i had one before it wasn't very comfy and started to creek after about a week .

Got them on two of my bikes and I can remain on the saddle all day without any discomfort.

WTB - rocket V or PureV been using them for ages. Comfy, good looking and good value. To be fair I haven't tried a spoon, but from the reviews of other people they sound good to.

Just enquired at my lbs about the spoon, they couldn't say enough good things about the saddle apart from they seem to sell like hot cakes and they are on back order.
Ordered a white one

I really really like my spank starblast saddle. Its chunky enough to offer thigh/knee grabbing ability over rocky terrain, but its also comfortable enough for me to sit on all day

the intake saddles are pretty comfy too.

It's a case of getting lucky and finding one you like!

Spoon here as well. Got a Knife as well which is their racier saddle, it's also great.

Hubby swears by his Spoon too, he's tried lots of saddles and the Spoon is perfect.

Also, Gusset sell the spoon under a different name. It's made by Velo same as the spoon. Same saddle, same price, different colours.

The other thing is, even if you find you don't like the Spoon, they resell used for as much as they can be bought new, it's weird.

SDG Bel air, spoon is a little light on padding. SDG bel air seems to fit just about everyone, all my friends have them as do I.

PS frame material does not necessarily dictate frame stiffness! I have ridden flexy steel frames and super stiff ones.
