I have had enough of these pads.
They are supposed to be the dogs dangly bits in the wet but i find them USELESS!!
I went for a 20km ride last night and had no stopping power in my rear brake and next to nothing on my front.
At the end of my ride i even rode down greyhound hill (Hendon) with the back brake on all the way down to see if it would clean it up but nothing happened. It was only when i grabbed the front brakes as hard as i could that i skidded to a stop at the red lights.
Going to order some swissstops today.

If I'm reading this right your brakes aren't applying enough force on the rear rim to lock it up, even downhill in the rain. However your front wheel skids, which generally shouldn't be possible.
That sounds very wrong, must be something other than the pads.0 -
Deffo something not right, even my shitty Shimano brake pads are fine in the wet and down hills, not brilliant and I have to keep distance when behind other people down hills, but 3000+ miles on the same brake blocks and they fine.. Maybe cable tension is not right, so when you pull yer levers all the way not much pressure is being applied.0

Ok I have checked my set up.
Pads are about 1-2mm away from rim. Both are an equal distance away and when the brakes are applied they apply force at the same time. The pad toes in very slightly so the "lip" that disperses water hits the rim first then the rest of the pad hits the rim. When testing indoors the wheel locks up after a gentle amount of braking
I then checked the back of the pads. The amount of metal shavings embedded is quite worrying/shocking, considering i always clean my rims after every ride  So this may be part of the actual problem.0 -
What rims are you using? My old Mavic Aksium training wheels were poor in the wet, with a whole variety of pads. Open Pro rims wear quite quickly these days, but provide a good braking surface, as do my Campag Neutrons.0

Is it the salmon pads (wet weather) that you are using or the black dry weather ones.
I've been using the salmons for most of this year without problem and definatly no metal shavings on the pads.0 -
