i am going to try and complete the Coast to Coast on one of these baby's

http://www.balanzbike.com/

I will be doing it for Help for heroes.
I have never done the coast to coast before and would like some advice on road routes to take. Also if anyone has any advice for trainning that would be great as well.

Thank You

do it on a proper bike, it will still be bloody hard & if the bike breaks down spares will be easy to find & fit. The balanzbike will not be able to get up some of the easier climbs, let alone the harder ones.

The Coast to Coast and C2C are completely different routes, but people generally get them mixed up.
The Coast to Coast(Wainwrights) is mostly off-road and is a tough walk, never mind ride.

The C2C(Whitehaven to Sunderland) is probably the best route on that thing. Its mainly narrow roads/green lanes.

    Agree.
And on some of the downhills, you can get up to 40mph - a daunting prospect on that thing!

BTW - one of the best things I've ever done - everyone should do it.
