So after riding with the Saturday group for a few weeks i joined the local club round here which is very cool as they have no commitee, the attitude being if you think something should be done, you let people know and go ahead and do it so a distinct lack of bullshit there and obviously a lot of very experainced riders some of whom have ridden the classics and know a thing or two about training, so I riding three times week with them at the moment until the sportive in November then a bit of a rest until after christmas and so on.
Everyone seems pretty cool multiple rides in the week, monthly club dinners no rule book with club records going back to 1927 and if someone looks like they might have potential to ride professionaly they get the support they need which all seems like it should be really.
More importantly noboby who goes psycotic if you take the piss out of them.

He normally just joins up, posts a load of shite telling everyone what a great rider he is and then never responds to any replies. Then he clears off for a few months, comes back and does the same thing again....and so on....

And he has inconsistent logic. Fun to laugh at in a tragic way though.

Love the "no rule book with club records going back to 1927" paradox. Pure genious.

Below is just part of a post from the 2nd link

Has anyone ever told you that not all attention is good? You are acting like an angst ridden teenager, you have problems and you want the whole world to know about them so you can get some sympathy. Unfortunately you are a complete and utter crackpot who is making a name for himself as a to$$er of the highest order.

You say Tom's training has been unfocussed yet he got his 2nd cat licence within months of first starting racing. What cat are you Jez? In fact what is the highest you have ever finished in a race?

You say talking about heartrates annoy you and has no relevance to training. So when the commentators on ITV4 talk about heartrates are they idiots as well?

I tell you what, why don't you stop being negative and say something positive for once. Please enlighten us all on how we should be training to achieve the heights of cycling success that you have reached? How do we train to crash out of a race on the first lap? How do we train to finish races a lap down? I would really like to know as you must be the font of all knowledge with the amount of bullsh!t that you come out with.
