roost guards, any good?

looking at body armour, and foundthis on CRC

what exactly is different about roost guard from normal body armour like the 661 pressure suit? other than its not like a shirt..

    They're for motocross, protect you from stones (roost) being kicked up by the bike in front.

    no good as proper body armour then im guessing :lol:

    Well, better, if you're trying to protect against stones being fired at you at 100mph like bullets from a gun. But not very good if you're trying to protect against the ground :wink:
