Hi,

Does anyone know if I can use a Shimano LX 9sp (MTB) shifter with a 9 speed 105 rear deurallier (road)?

    Yes - the only issue on the rear derailleur is your cassette sizing - the 105 will be a short cage rear mech and so will be limited for use with larger rear cassette sizes (more than ~24 tooth?)
