Hi all,

My first post so here goes.

I've recently started commuting to work by bike (children and hrs at the gym don't work) and I'm running a 58cm kona dew deluxe which has 700 x 37 tyres.

As I live up in Aberdeen and the shitty weather will be with us shortly I'm looking to fit a set of sks full commuter mudguards but I'm a bit confused as to what size I need. Some sites say the P45's will fit up to a 37 tyre while other sites say I'll need the P50's. Should I try fitting mudguards which offer the tightest fit or go for ones with a bit more room to manoeuvre?

Anyone had any experience fitting mudguards on a kona dew?

As a relative novice any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Rich.

oops, sorry should have posted in commuiting section, I'll chuck it in there.

  • The commuting mudguards are total shite IME. You'd be much better off with Chromoplastic mudguards. They're more of a hassle to fit, but they're way better. I went through three sets of the Commuter ones in about four/five months! They kept breaking. I have no idea why it took me so long to buy Chromoplastic ones.
