Merlin Bike advice required

Evening folks,

First post here and loving the forum with all the free info available.

I am looking for my first off-road bike and have found the below bike at Merlin.

I intend to go to Grizedale Forest, the new Gisburn trails and Rivington Pike so a mixture of single track and fire track.

no idea on the individual component quality so just hoping someone with more experience can advise if it looks a decent buy.

would the above suit to get me into the hobby with upgrade potential going forward - Merlin are really local to me at home so would be a perfect buy.
