Not sure if this is what you are after, but the National Youth Circuit Race Champs is scheduled for Sat 24/07/2010 at Redbrige Cycle Centre, Essex (aka Hog Hill).

Don't think there is such a thing as Youth ROAD Race Champs as I think U16's are not allowed to race on open road (only closed circuits).

The full calendar for 2010 is not finalised yet so details won't appear on British Cycling website for a couple of months probably, but have a look on the Event Calendar on there in Nov/Dec for dates for Darley Moor races.

Haven't ridden Darley Moor myself, but I think it's pretty flat although the wind always seems to be pretty strong across the circuit.

Ref Darley Moor, if you're looking for circuit races in that location close (approximately) to Stoke, then also look at events that are on in the BC West Midlands Region at Sundorne circuit Shrewsbury, and Curborough near Lichfield. Both have fairly extensive programme of Youth events, with a variety of distances and formats.

There is also Newcastle track right next to Stoke itself, if you're intersted in track events at all ....
  • The u16 nationals are as bronzie said on closed curcuits. and hog hill should be good next year for me, ie the hill

last year about 60 entered but i couldnt ride as had my arm in cast :( the race usualy stays together for a mass sprint but it may be different with hog hill's hill..
  • aaah good i love hills and sprints. i did the cat and fiddle on sunday. it seemed like everyone was going backwards past me apart from the malcom elliot, sean kelly and brian rourke chain gang which contained my friend Joe :P hes a bit too old for youth thank god or he nail it ! btw i live in Grimsby if it helps but it doesnt matter where they are i will get therE !
