How to fix...?

hey guys looking into a cheap fixie for the winter, the mechanic at my shop is building me up an old road frame as a singlespeed for free but i want it to be fixed for training purposes, other than new wheels is there anything else i can do?

    I think it's just a case of swapping the single speed sprocket for a fixed one.
    Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos
