How not to ride a wooden berm!

My mate "hitting" the wooden berm on Wodody's wobble at the Cli-machx.

    Camera in wrong mode after the preious day at the top of Cader Idris, should've been in "Sport" and not "Landscape" doh!!

    That berm is quite tricky, the bump up onto it, and the angled turn half way through, took me some thinking time to give it a go.

    He was fine bar a cut/graze to his wrist, bike was fine too.

    Unlike the guy on the Meta, he brioke his rocker link on the way down the final descent :shock:

    I think he got too high on the first half, combined with the front tyre pinch flatting on entry it just slid down the berm and he went over the bars, simplez :lol:

    Not so difficult with a high speed burst on a proper professional camera, there's a whole sequence of pics of that crash. Still a great shot though.

    yeah i know, its not that mental crazy dificult to get a shot like that with the right kit, but i do quite alot of photography (am hoping to set up a online shop soon!) including mtb stuff, and its a mighty good photo!

    You haven't seen the later pics in the set, where his glove gets ripped off as well :shock:

    When you take into account he's 6'4" as well, it's a fair bet thats how far he fell
