Seatpost QR buyig advice (Lapierre spicy 516 )

Anyone know the size of the QR i need to buy for my spicy , looking at the hope ones are they OK ?, or any other suggestions

from spec sheet it says my seatpost is a THOMSON ELITE 31.6X367

or, which bit do i measure ?

    remove the current one and look at the underside. or measure the seat tube.

    seat post size means very little.

    if you have a band on front mech and the seat tube has not been manipulated to make the OD any bigger at the seat clamp end and the front mech is a band on then i guess the current clamp will say 35 on it and the tube will measure 34.9mm

    Just put a Hope one on my Hifi - the original clamp had 36 stamped on iy and a 36.4mm QR clamp fitted fine :)
