My Manager has just advised me that I have to complete a particular task by tomorrow evening. But Im on a Course all day tomorrow I reply, then I show him the e mail that HE sent me telling me that Im on a Course all day tomorrow. I was told it was full and that you had been rebooked for next week he says, well its no effing good if no one tells me is it I think to myself. He calls the Training Manager, who couldnt confirm either way and advises that she will call him back. 5 mins later she rings back and confirms that I have been moved to another day next week. He has a bit of a pop at her for not advising either of us, she advises that she e mailed another Manager on my floor who isnt my Manager and isnt actually in my Department anyway. So my Manager asks this other Manager if he had received an e mail advising that my training day had been rebooked. He had, but as it wasnt relevant to him or his staff he deleted it.
Well, all's well that ends well then. So, to confirm Im on a training day next week. What training is it? EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

Hopefully they'll be able to furnish you with a course manual, in both electronic and wet formats.
That way, you'll be able to send/give copies to your boss and Training Manager.
You should then concentrate on sending your CV....Start with a budget, finish with a mortgage!0 -
The Training Manager has just phoned me and said that there is in fact one space available and I can go if I like, I dont want to go ever love but you did hear the bit where my Manager said to you I CANT GO TOMORROW, ffs.
Hopper1, I cant leave here, no where else will be this much fun0 -
And these people are supposed to be superiors? A bit like my Dad crashing his car into a sign whilst parking it. The sign was a one for 'No Parking'. Hmmm.0
