Are you saying that even using the right tool you can't get them to shift? I'll be doing mine soon in preparation for winter. I've bought the correct BB tool and was assuming it would be a doddle. Do I need to start doing weights in preparation for it?

Should come off quite easily (unless no anti-seize or grease was used).
Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

shouldn't be too hard, turning the right direction? Did you fit them greased/copasliped?

yep was greased rocknroll bearing grease only done 500miles after last regrease. tried clockwise and anti clockwise both bbcups and no give. decided to give up and just used the grease gun.

hmm shimano ones have direction arrows to tell you how to get them on and off, usually i put them on by hand and snug them home with the tool
