Welding aluminium dropout

Hi,
I managed to snap the drop out off my cinelli frame. Does anyone know if it is possible to have a new one welded back on, and if so who can do this?
Or will I need to look at converting it to a single speed?

I am assuming aluminium. It can be done, but will require the frame to be re heat treated, then repainted - very costly!
