can anyone answer this question for me...

Is Anne Gripper a good egg trying to do her best in difficult circumstances, or is she as useless as the rest of McQuaid's gang?

i don't have as much time as i would like to research this kind of thing.

    I think she's on the level but we all know how bosses can undermine you. (I also think AFLD may be exaggerating a little)

    Same thought- a good woman trying her dam*est to do a good job, but hampered by useless bosses.

    Looks to me as though she went into the job with the best of intentions, but has now just become another corporate whore more interested in keeping her position than actually trying to change things. Of course this may simply reflect the fact that she has found that the UCI cannot be changed for the better.

    I believe she still does a good job, given the circumstances. I believe that it wasn't for some fancy footwork from la Gripper Vino would've been at the Olympics last year.

    The UCI have claimed some big scalps this year
