If you can afford it go with Chorus 11spd.

I would say it's the best value of the the 11spd groupsets. If you start paying more for Record or Super Rec you're not really gaining much in performance.

    +1 - You'll love it after DA10.

  • Do you have an issue with your Dura Ace or are you just bored?

SRAM may well be the new kids on the block, but their kit is very good.

I have no wish to offend anyone, but simply think 'each to their own'...

I chose SRAM, 'cos I like to be different, court mischief, as the devil's advocate...

Its going on a Wilier Izoard and I just thought Italian bike go for an Italian gruppo
  • I have a bike with SRAM and another with Campy Chorus 11s. Whilst I have only one complaint about SRAM (that being the big ring shift) I have to say that the Chorus 11s is the best by far. Slick, positive shifting, amazing braking (fast as you like downhill cause these baby's stop. Easily!) and overall feel. The brake hoods are canted slightly in an ergonomic fashion that makes by far the most comfortable to ride on. The carbon levers are warm to the touch (pity the shifters aren't carbon as well.) On top of it all you get an extended warranty from Campag when you register your GS online. If you are after a best bike set that will last a few years, the C11s would be my first choice. At a price of course.

of course it's an upgrade! - he's moving from shitmano to campag

he could go to xenon and it would be an 'upgrade'
