Giro of Sardinia 2010 - NOTE CAREFULLY

The Giro di Sardinia site has been updated for the 2010 race in Italian http://www.girosardegna.it/ so you can already see the stages - 3 starting from the hotel in Porto Cervo and 4 out of the 7 days needing transfers to Nuoro, Santa Teresa, Tempio Pausana and La Maddalena. We shall translate it into English, including our suggestions for the transfers, and publish it by the end of October, when Ryanair tell us that they should have published their summer 2010 timetable. We did ask Easyjet if they would start their Gatwick to Olbia service in time for the Giro (normally their flight is available for the return but not for coming out from London! It was like this in 2009…), but they gave us the standard “Sign up for the Easyjet newsletter for updates” answer. So we shall assume people who want to firm things up early fly with Ryanair to Alghero and we’ll organise the transfers. Best though to hire a car - with two of you it is probably cheaper than the organisers' transfers @ €250.
