Sellle italia slr problems

Hi I bought a Scott r3 at the start of the year, I soon found the standard saddle very uncomfortable and swapped it for my old selle italia flight.

I've just purchased a new slr carbino as the flight is looking a bit long in the tooth but I am having difficulties fitting it. The scott comes with the ritchley stubby seatpost as it's an integrated frame but I find the seats carbon rails are too big for the stubby seatpost runners.

Tried filling down the seatpost clamp but feel I would take off too much metal .

Does anybody have similar issues?

If you look at the tech specs, you may find that certain saddles are incompatible with certain seatposts - your saddle has oval rails - fortunately Ritchey list different clamp kits on their website for your post.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
