Trek 7.3FX Disc drop bars

I use a Trek 7.3 FX Disc for the daily grind and recently i found that i'm starting to prefer the riding position on my Trek 1.5 road bike. So i'm curious wether fitting a set of drop bars to my 7.3 FX is feasable.
Couple of questions-
1. Will this be a problem with the frame geometry
2. Are drop bar STI's and levers compatible with Deore rear mech, C102 front mech and Shimano cable disc brakes.
3. Is there anything else to consider.
