Met a guy today whilst biking in Wyre Forest. He was biking on his own on a Specialized Full susser, and had his right arm strapped up in a sling. We stopped and asked him if he had broken it, but it turned out it was a disability from a motorbiking accident. So his arm is completely strapped up and he has both brake levers and shifters controlled by his left hand. He only held the handlebars with his left arm, no contraptions to help with balance. He said it was more fun than sitting around at home..................all i can say was that he was truely inspiring and if i ever moan about biking with a hangover, a sore back or anything else less trivial, i'll think again about him.

Credit to the guy. I used to know a biker (motorcyclist) who only had one arm. He had all the controls on the right handlebar and no doubt an immensely strong right arm. He beat me at pool once too
