then you have weird wasps, they have an alkali sting, and the acid in vinegar should help. unless you are just rubbing it, then savlon or similar

if the sting is still in it, are you sure it wasnt a bee? Because vinegar will make it much worse if it was.

I was bitten by wasp when I was about 6yrs on Barry Island beach. They put vinegar on it, probably cause it was my inner thigh. No volunteers to suck the poison out?...

Also got stung on my chest/neck 3 times on steep road descent near Trefriw/Llanrwst.
I was trying to steer one handed, on a really steep, narrow lane, downhill, smacking myself like a demented one armed gorilla!!!!
Little shit was still alive when I opened up my shirt and he fell on the floor.
Not after I applied my SPD shoe to his head he wasn't.

All my chest/neck went numb for about 30 mins, then the pain clicked in.. Ouch!

I was biking at Dalby with 5 mates yesterday and 5 minutes in to the ride and my mate miscalculates a drop and goes over the handlebars and right in to a wasps nest, he got stung to buggery and made a speedy exit. The bike was surrounded by wasps and took a few efforts from us all and some bad stings to get it back.....my mate dislocated his finger too, what a day...

A solution to jellyfish stings is to urinate on the stung area or pour urine on it.
