Best rucksack for a 17" laptop?

Sadly I have to cycle to work most days with my 17" laptop on my back. As I am adding a few miles on the way, I need a proper way of carrying it (together with a shirt/wallet etc). Currently I have a 'sling' style Incase backpack, but it slides everywhere and is driving me nuts!
Advice please, thanks, FJ

Have a look at Crumplebags. I have the New Dehli can lug a 17" laptop plus my DSLR, Lenses & Strobes. That would be too big but the I'm sure there would be something in the range.I'm over 6' and have quite a large head.0

Anything by Swissgear ftw. Absolutely superb bags IMHO.0

i use this
http://products.lowepro.com/product/Mes ... 960,23.htm
it's a shoulder bag, but has a light strap that goes around your waist, which can keep it in place on your back while cycling. quite high quality, good quality, will take a shower of rain too. fits plenty other stuff in too, and looks decent, i have the browny one. got one on ebay pretty cheap. recommend.

I have a Crumpler bag. It's good, but a bit on the small side for carrying loads of stuff.
I've just ordered a custom messenger bag with a laptop insert from Timbuk2 (in large). So, I'll see how that is.
So far though, I'd recommend Timbuk2. I had fun creating my bag.0 -

Thanks guys. Love the look of the Howies, but leather looks HEAVY!!!
Timbuk2 looks the most comprehensive offering, how long are you having to wait White Line before yours arrives? Have you ordered a laptop sleeve as well?
Thanks, FJ0 -
They're saying it'll be ten working days till I get it. Three to process and make it and whatnot, then UPS will have it for up to seven working days. Although, when I ordered my bag from Crumpler, in Germany, it came a lot quicker than I was told. So, who knows. I might have it this time next week.
Oh, and yes, I ordered a laptop insert too for when I need to take my laptop into uni.0
