A pair of £25 skate shoes from TK Max  . Best money I've spent on the bike since I got it last month. My feet feel glued to the pedals compared to my old trainers, especially in the wet.

Well chuffed!

Just goes to show you don't need to spend £1000 on a new front fork to get a worthwhile upgrade.
Cool, retro and sometimes downright rude MTB and cycling themed T shirts. Just MTFU.

    What shoes are they.

Got to love TKMaxx for a bargin, although it's like a boot sale some times.

    Hi mate

    DVS Contras.

    like these:

Grippy as chuff compared to my old karrimors. Really well padded and with a fairly stiff sole to boot. Bargain.

  • Gotta love TK Maxx fro a trainer bargain.
You never know what your going to find so good for impulse buying.

I need to get some new trainers for MTBing. Wanna get some ankle boot style to give a little extra protection. Will have to go and see what I can find
  • I like a wee look around Sports Direct when I pass one, they usually have some decent gear at cheap prices. That's where I got the Karrimor hiking trainers I wear out, a bargain at 20 squid.
