Veloce Skeleton - caliper drop

I'm considering shelling out on a Veloce groupset for my winter steed. The only thing I'm unsure about at the moment is the drop on the brake calipers. The calipers would be fitted to a bike with mudgaurds (Racelight T) - will the reach be long enough on the calipers?

Ribble winter frames don't have the same level of clearances as other winter frames though.

Spanielsson had a Kinesis winter frame, and his Veloce brakes didn't have the reach and had to get some longer arm Shimano/Tektro ones.

They have a very shallow drop - depending on the the frame fitting, but I can't get anything bigger than a 23c under mine - I use a pair of older, non-skeleton Chorus dual-pivot calipers which have loads more clearance for winter use. For mudguard use, suggest you look for a caliper with 57mm drop like Tektros
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Thanks guys, bit of a change of tact and a move away from buying new for the winter steed!!

Go a pair of long drop RX100 dual pivots - they should do the job. Also throwing my old Dura-Ace kit onto the bike... will wing some pics up on here when it's built (in another thread though).
