Was wondering what it is like (Gladiator Route of 30 miles).

Anyone got any experience of it from previous years or indeed are going to ride it this year.

I looked at doing that but its the same day as the Evans bike ride!
Why do they always clash!! :?

Done it two years running - nice route, not particularly challenging as far as bike handling goes but could be a bit of a churn if it's wet at all - last two years have been dry in the main.

Good fun and snap at the end is worth the effort

I must admit I expected this to be rather easy.....riding over the fields was painful and rather slow!

Field edge bridleways are harder than they look - chuck in some ploughed and furrowed stuff and you've got a challenge
