Interview with Velo magazine has a bit

I think it would be sensible to try for LBL or one of those type of races. Although he probably ain't got the zip in his legs for it.

Mind, he said he'd do Paris-Nice this year and that didn't really work out....

Lots of "may" and "possibly" in that article.

I guess the big decision is Giro or California. What he does in May will influence the rest of his schedule.
  • So Armstrong is back to spending the whole of june moving around the mountains of France (location never quite pinned down by the dope testers) familiriasing himself with the tour climbs.

This also helps propogate fanboy myth #4657

Being familiar with the geography of the uphill sections of the tour de france helps you ride up them at 460 watts

Of course it has nothing to do with Dr. Ferrari's campervan being nearby.
    From elsewhere.

Is there anything left of his comeback speak, that he hasn't torn up?

There's no mention of the Tour de France!

Seriously, there is competition for the July and it's not certain his team gets a ride, although I suspect it's highly probable. Still, if I was them I'd be hiring some hawk to run an anti-doping programme in order to please Prudhomme and I'd sign up for the Tour of Qatar for the same reasons.

He also had a good go again at Contador but that doesn't appear there, you need to buy the thing

I'm sure the Tour of Murcia would be happy to see him there.

Don't you love the way that that schedule automatically assumes Team Shack will have a PT licence? Even though Big Buddy Pat says it's 'still under consideration' - what a joke

I didn't bother reading it...the lack of style these triathletes possess is laughable.

If you didn't read it, how do you know about the "lack" of style? Hmmmmmmmmmm

Polyester suit and shoes with a rubber sole. In cycling terms, as long as you shoes, helmet and sunglasses match you're stylish. Oh, and being short helps.

I thought no biopassport, no Grand Tour invite.
Didn't the sheriff of Dodgy City pass this law?
Rocky Horror gave up a possible Giro ride because of this little problemo.

You think such sommon or garden pesky little things as laws apply to Armstrong? For whom the 6 months in the testing pool rule was so easily waived?

Matching helmet and shoes DOES NOT equal style. Everything, bike included, must be tastefully coordinated, shoes and socks must be predominantly white, basically

    Style = Cipollini.

For more recent advocates of awesome style i refer you to Cancellara or Daniele Bennatti. :o

How can you miss out Pozzato...

Bennati is definitely a good call though and a rider I prefer:

Too much white and you just look daft, I can't make my mind up whether Pozatto looks like an Egyptian mummy or a worker in a hazchem suit.

why when you hate him so much do you all bang on about him? No wonder he gets so much coverage. Think LA has something up his sleeve for AC in 2010
