Why Did You Stop Lurking?

How long did you lurk for before breaking cover and why? I’d been lurking about since the dying days of C+ and then decided to join following the great exodus - the smaller feel of the site suited me. Then one day there was a thread about clipless moments and having just had a clipless moment I dived in.
I ask as at the moment there are 950 ‘guests’ online compared to 115 registered users. So for every actual user on-line there’s around eight people who are just here to read this drivel…

Answered a question about the reliability of my LBS. Here is my chance I thought, not many folk on here will be able to answer that, but I can, took much longer to think of a username I was happy with :P0

I lurked for about 12 seconds whilst creating a username then jumped in head first 8)
Everyone should do this, makes for more, and more interesting, threadswinter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg

I only login when I post, so that may go some way to explain the numbers. Does that mean I'm a lurker?
I'll try to login more often, but I seldom have anything (meaningful/interesting/amusing)* to say...

found the site, had a question, signed on and got question answered all in about 10mins...no lurking needed...found you guys/gals to be informative and fun, whilst watching a few get their hair off about stuff, made the mistake of mentioning Lance in an early post...all good stuff0

I came on here to answer every buying thread I can with 'choosing advice', often favouring products which I haven't used over other products I also haven't used based on no personal experience of them at all.
I base these opinions just on what I like the look of plus maybe a bit of what Ive read in bike magazines, but what's most important is that I 'say something' not 'what I say', it sort of makes me feel like Im an expert, when Im not.
What was the question?
...well, I joined just to ask a few pointers - on buying advice ironically!0 -
I only lurk when pretty girls are involved, fnarr fnarr.0
