Is it wrong that after over 2 years working in a bike shop I am getting excited at the prospect of building up some Orange bikes today? Am I going to want one as soon as they are in the workstand?

There's nowt wrong with that. especially if you can get to test them as well.Santa Cruz Chameleon
Orange Alpine 1600 -
Well one of them is a demo bike but I can't ride it until it's been used as we could sell it as is (Orange 5 pro). I had never seen Orange bikes up close until I built them and they look so basic and functional yet so sexy!0

you should have seen the strops and tears over the iron horse sunday at the lbs where i worked.
The duty manager wouldn't let anyone test ride it to check, serious tantrums from the saturday lad who built it.0 -
I was dying to ride my boss's bike when it was built..... Santa Cruz Blur LT carbon, XTR drivetrain, Revelations, Hope Tech X2 brakes..... it's just sexy and I want it!0

I have to admit that I couldn't stand the look of any Orange bike . . .
. . . right up until the point where I bought one.0 -

I was the same - it is a bit of a St. Paul moment, isn't it?0 -
I've grown quite fond of its 'Blue Thunder as a bicycle' looks, but it's no Ibis Mojo.0
