Mary Townley Challenege Results are up
Finally.....
PDF can be downloaded here
Unfortunately they are in alphabetical order so being the nice chap that I am (and wanting to know where I came) I've sorted them into order
If you can't read that you can see them here.
Looks like a faster field this year by far but the turnout was down, 177 riders this year, 204 last year and 283 in 2007.
Fairly well organised by the Mountain rescue again this year but I'm not sure they get the fact that despite it 'not being a race' people like to know where they've come. Could do with moving it back to June as well, would probably improve the turnout and raise more money.

Think I might have a go at that next year. I have only done the complete Mary T loop once and it took me 9 hours 15 mins starting from Lumb going clockwise I thought that I would finish dead last by a mile. You have inspired me I could have come a dizzying 154th
Unless its done anti clock and the climbs are harder in which case I might cry offFig rolls: proof that god loves cyclists and that she wants us to do another lap0 -
Actually this year was anti-clockwise which certainly felt harder, but I knocked an hour off last year's time, unfortunately so did everyone else it seems.
The climbs are harder (= more pushing) but I think you make up more time with the extended downhills. Was quite pleased with my 6hrs 55mins, inspired me to maybe train abit next yearIt's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
