If i wanted to put a smaller ring on my saints, would it just be a case of buying a smaller ring, putting it on and hooking up a front derailleur and shifter?
Would I be able to use the original bolts?

how many rings did you start off with?0

basically yes."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I mean, if you started off with a single ring, and want to stick a granny on as well, then you'd have to get 4 more bolts to hold the granny ring in place.0

Ahha...
Started with Uno... I might go for 2. Not sure though, kinda like my no fuss single ring set up0 -

if your saints were single ring then you have problems as the granny ring holes are not threaded."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Well that works fine for me.
You'd probably need a new chainring too (if it's singlespeed specific).
Looks like you'll just have to 'make do'.Now that we are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak and not to please ourselves. ROMANS 15:10 -

Ah, OK then, good luck with that.
