Cheap Rollers

I'm thinking of getting some rollers so I can do quick 10-minute sessions without having to waste 25-30 minutes negotiating through crappy traffic to and from the nearest traffic-free road near where I live.

I prefer rollers to standard wobble-free trainers because they feel more realistic.

Problem is, I don't really fancy spending £150+ on something which might only get used occasionally... :?

What are the cheapest rollers out there?

I really couldn't care less about resistance settings, noise, etc, as it would be for high-cadence sessions in my (acoustically treated/sound-proof) basement.

Any suggestions?

  • Never mind the rollers.

Why is your basement accoustically treated for sound proofing?

I record bands down there regularly. It's a recording studio so it's got to sound good.

    Good call on ebay. :D

Last time I checked there, the lowest price was £175, but i've just found some mega bargains.
  • I used to live above a recording studio. The bast*rd landlord could have mentioned it before I moved in.
