Ok, so I finally made up my mind and bought the Van Nicholson Yukon
Specced it with handbuilt 105 hubs and Open Pro rims, for the winter.
I was going to get it with 105 groupset, but, after seeing the new Ultegra 6700, with the new hoods and no cables.... I couldn't resist
Oh and full mudguards, too!
Pick it up next week, can't wait.

I'm just back from a weekend riding the Ventoux. Blue skies, lovely and warm. Just perfect cycling.

Did you get it from Fatbirds? I bought my Orbea from there, very good shop but the owner can be a bit strange sometimes!Norfolk, who nicked all the hills?

Ha!... I thought that, too!
Yep, that's where I bought it, very good service.... Didn't know they did Orbea's
He's just started to deal with Powertaps, reckons he will be very competative, once he sorts his prices out...
I pick it up next Friday, so will be going for a shakedown ride around Hunstanton. Never ridden up there before, but hoping to find a nice hilly (yes, I know it's Norfolk!) route.
I opted for a double instead of a compact, too!
I hope it's p1ssing down, too, so I can check out my mudguards. As long as it's not blowing a gale!Start with a budget, finish with a mortgage!0 -
