  • Kuota - but only because I have one (albeit with Campag) and would recommend. Not ridden the other two to compare.

What sort of riding do you do? Is it for competition, leisure, lanes, etc?
Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

a mate has the Kuota and it's very tidy. I've not ridden any of them but the design of the Kuota is impressive.

    Slowdown -

Not to sure what sort of riding I'm doing at the minute comming from a MTB back ground and commuting 20 miles a day on a langster ( and mostly doing any road riding on the SS)

Just want something to get me about northumberland and surrounding countryside
more interested in longer rides for fitness than any competion yet but you never know

I was going for the felt purly on the group set but thing that I should be looking at the most upgradable frame

  • The Kuota will do what you want it to - my rides are mainly country lanes/quiet B Roads for leisure, and I'm happy with mine.

That said I did take a look at the Orbea's recently at Epic (they do upgrade deals on wheels etc):

and could be tempted next time around.

Kuota and obrea both have that wow factor
but would the Felt not be the practical choice

Never took this long buying a car just wenet in said I that'll do how much

  • The Felt does look the sensible buy at the price (assume Wiggle?), but it doesn't tug at the heartstrings like the Kuota and Orbea. Can you test any of the bikes out first?

  • I tried the Orbea onix at Epic when I bought my Bianchi. It was a toss up between the 2. The orbea was a uber comfortable soft ride. I felt vitrually no rode buzz as the frame seemed to dampen the lot. The Bianchi however whilst having more road buzz coming through the frame gave the feeling as though I was able to direct more power into what I was doing plus Ultegra groupset. I just felt that I preffered the more livelier response of the Bianchi. But I was very impressed with the Orbea and If I hadn't had that extra little bit of cash I would've gone for that quite happily. I can see it being a very good long distance bike as its very comfortable.
Bianchi. There are no alternatives only compromises!
I RIDE A KONA CADABRA -would you like to come and have a play with my magic link?
