Mountain biking around Oxford

Hi Guys,
I live in Abingdon (5 miles south of Oxford) am am trying to find somewhere to ride locally. Ive tried shotover, and know a few places which are at least an hour drive away.
Ideally id like to get more into freeride biking but guess it's a bit flat round here so any decent trails would do!
Also good would be any dirt jump locations near Oxford?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Richard

Clunky website but might help you out. You don't have to go far from Abingdon. The Ridgeway is not far away to the south.Neil

Hi Richard, I'm in a similar situation to you, and have been looking for some trials around oxford. I think we do alot of the same sort of riding, so if you ever wanted to go for a ride, give me a pm and maybe we can sort something out! I live in Headington btw!
Have you been to either of the jump spots listed above??http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtop ... t=12613038Cat With No Tail wrote:Anyway, fk dis, I iz off 4 a ride innit. l8rz peepz0 -
For basic trail riding, try:
The Ridgeway (get train to Didcot)
Boar's Hill and Hurst Hill (but only a few trails there)
Otherwise, not much else. Head into Chilterns like I do..?
