Hi all - I use SPD SLs on my road bike but for my cheaper road/commuter bike intend on getting SPDs due to lots of stop start action on the main road into town. Could somebody tell me if the PD-M520 has any float as I have had a knee op a few months ago and can;t afford to damage it again. I was going to use these pedals with a pair of mountain bike/walking style shoes. Thanks for your help guys,

Matt.

IIRC they have a 5 degree float. :)

  • The float is in the cleats. Make sure you have the right ones. The ones that come with hte pedals are with float.
I have only two things to say to that; Bo***cks
  • Thanks guys - have made the purchase!
