Spesh FSR shock mounting question

I just picked up my rear shock from the shop (for its second service after it blew straight away after the first one!).
I've fitted it back onto the frame and it seems fine but a bit noisier than before, so I just thought I'd ask - are there supposed to be any washers or anything on the bolt that fixes it to the rear linkage? At the top end of the shock (where the adjustment lever is) there are washers at either side, but at the other end (the piston end) there is just a bolt that goes through with nothing else.
The bike is a 2007 FSR XC Pro like this: http://www.leisurewheels.co.uk/smsimg/3 ... ored-3.jpg

Pics of what you have now."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Here it is (sorry about shaky pictures, it's a bit dark....) :
left side, the end of the bolt only protrudes through 1mm or so
