i'm looking at buying a tacx satori t1860. firstly does anyone have any experience of these. its my first turbo so i'm a bit in the dark.
my other question is has anyone bought anything from rutland cycling before? they have these turbos on ebay for a bargain price, but i'm always a bit wary when buying off ebay.

I have a Satori 1850 and it is excellent - really well built, solid and quiet.
No experience of Rutland Cycles myself.0 -
great thanks chris. what sort of hill gradient can they get up to?0
-
Don't know about a gradient, but suffice to say bl**dy hard. If you can turn it in your top gear on the maximum resistance, I'll eat my largest hat.
Used by many pros, and they're stronger than you or I.
PS I take it that was a typo and you meant the 1850, I've not heard of an 1860 yet. How much are they selling them for by the way?0 -
no its the 1860, i think that just means its limited edition so it comes with a rucksack and amstel gold training dvd
its on at 174.99 buy it now price. looks to be about 230 normally0 -
Go for it - I think Rutland are pretty well established, they are distributors for some good brands etc. not just an ebay seller.0

I've used Rutland before - no problems at all.0
