Just been browsing on the scott website. I was wondering ifthere is such thing as a scott scale 30 frame? they have a scale 10, 20, and 40 frame. What's happened to the 30? There are full scott scale 30 bikes out there! Anyone have any info or a link?

the frame will either be the same as the 20 or the 40. Read the specs.

and a quick visit to the scott pages shows that the scale 35 and up use a carbon frame that weighs the same.....

Yep, as already said, there are 2 Scale Frames

    Carbon and Alu

The model numbers are what fitted to them. Scott go in reverse order, therefore 10 is the best.

I reckon on there being four,

    Ally,

    HMF.net carbon (10,20 and 30 use this)
    HMX.net carbon ( Ltd)
HMX.nat carbon with seat mast (RC)

I have a Spark 20 still plenty light!
    Kona Kula Supreme, the hardtail
    Scott Spark 20 the softtail
    Cannondale CAAD9 the roadie
